In my process of selecting a precious metals broker, I found an ad for Goldco and requested some educational literature. I shortly received a phone call from an account executive who spent considerable time educating me as to precious metals, types, market drivers, global influence on metal values, and the many threats to the value of the U.S. dollar. After deciding to engage Goldco for the transfer of my traditional IRA to a new custodian recommended by Goldco, I dealt with a IRA Specialist who was very helpful in facilitating the custodian to custodian transfer. I had a very good experience with Goldco. Beginning with my first contact with Trevor, to my many subsequent conversations with my rep, I was educated about the precious metals market and the advantages of investing in them. There was no pressure put on me at any time. When I needed time to mull over what I learned that particular day, my rep never complained about me ending the conversation. We’d set a time for him to call back and he always did. After numerous calls and investigation, I made my investment. I have enjoyed working with the people at Goldco, for going on 4 years now, for the purchases of precious metals for my personal IRA Account. I feel as though they have my best interest in mind and I don’t feel like they’re trying to sell me something just to make a commission. They give me their recommendation for coins that have a possible huge potential for growth in the future and it seems to make the most sense to me as well. We’re pretty much on the same page as far as how I want to invest in Gold and Silver, and although they want you to keep your investment for at least 3 to 5 years, if not longer, I’ve always planned to keep my account active until I retire in about 7 years.
